As an Olympic Medalist, Healthy Living Guide and new mom, Jaime's extensive and unique background brings a refreshing perspective to the health & wellness community.
Her passion for whole body health has led Jaime on a path to create her proprietary role as Healthy Living Guide, sharing practical and natural solutions for a healthy holistic lifestyle; in other words, to feel awesome inside and out! Her method focuses on foundational and regenerative practices to reduce physical, emotional, environmental and nutritional stress.
Jaime has worked with top athletes in the world, including USA Women's Olympic Volleyball Team, Professional Surfers, UCLA Athletics, Major League Baseball Athletes and Olympic / Paralympic Athletes.
Jaime’s education complements her holistic approach. She is earning her Master of Arts in Health & Wellness Coaching (with an emphasis in Nutrition) at Maryland University of Integrative Health. Her certifications include: 200-hour Yoga Alliance, BASI Pilates (all apparatus + mat), Plant-based Sports Nutrition & Elite Sports Nutrition with Matthew Kenney Culinary, Yoga Tune Up Therapy Ball Practitioner, Restorative Exercise Specialist (current) with Nutritious Movement, Permaculture Design by The Ecology Center. She is the co-creator of the raw healthy treats, HAPPY dough, and finds pure joy in designing natural gemstone essential oil diffuser jewelry. She is very grateful to have led several international retreats and volunteerism trips. Jaime holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
While attending UCLA, Jaime became a 3-time NCAA Champion in Water Polo and 4-time All American. Inspiring her love of international travel, she lived in Australia for two years, competing in the Water Polo National League, winning two Championships. She also lived abroad and competed in Spain with her husband and former Professional Volleyball Athlete, Matt Komer. Jaime was on the USA Women’s National Water Polo Team from 2005-2010, and is a 2-time World Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist (2008, Beijing China).
As a new mom to their son Kovy, Jaime has discovered a passion in guiding new moms along their prenatal and postnatal journey. She created Natural Wonder Mamas Series, a 4-week program to naturally care for your body and mind as a new mom. And most recently, the Natural Wonder Mamas eBook, a Whole Body Wellness Guide to Pregnancy and Childbirth. In her new mom one-on-one sessions, she works with you on creating a peaceful and natural environment, self care practices, plus transitioning to toxin free living for your home, body and baby.
Jaime knows firsthand the power of healing your whole body naturally. For several years she struggled with her identity relying on titles like Professional Athlete, to define her. She worried more about people pleasing and what she thought was expected of her in a “role” than being true to herself. In essence, her inner compass was rusty. She lost her “gumption”. Dealing with injuries, gut issues, adrenal fatigue and so on, Jaime decided to make an intentional shift towards a natural and holistic lifestyle. She (re)discovered her personal path and confidence as she improved her health. As Jaime healed her body, she healed her wellbeing. With her personal experience and professional expertise, Jaime knows what it takes to make a positive shift in one’s lifestyle.
Jaime is honored to guide you along the journey to feeling and being your best self!
